People come in and out of your life, some making a much bigger impact than others. So many that you will never forget. What is it about people that makes you think about them nonstop? Everything else is going on in the world but they are always on your mind. It's a good thing. Thinking about them and what they have done for you just seems to brighten your day. What would you do without those people. I'd be nowhere.
Everywhere I've been (both here and around Illinois) I have had those people that you can never get out of your head. I always wonder what is happening to them. Where are they now? What have they been doing with their lives? There are two people that I currently have in my head; Kendall and Marlie. Complete opposites yet so much the same. Kendall was a good friend of mine back in chicago. A sweet girl but always needing to be accepted. She dressed the way she thought everyone (guys) would like her to, looked the way that she thought would get her the most attention and could be a complete follower, thinking people wouldn't like her if she didn't want to be more like them. I call her every now and then to see what's been gong on with her life but our friendship is slowly slipping away. Last I heard from her, she was happy. She always seemed happy.
Marlie is the complete opposite. She's her own person and comfortable with that. She never needs validation from others to feel good. She gets that from herself. She is strong both physically and mentally and a very intimidating person if you don't know her. I've been becoming better friends with her since school started and have learned that even the strongest people have weaknesses.
They have both made me a wiser person and I thank them for that.
